Profile of the organisation

Concorde was founded in 1992 under the name of Concorde Vertalingen BV, and two years later, Concorde Tec BV was added, specialised in software translations and localization projects. In 2002, the company was sold to a participation company, namely Rabo Participaties BV and an independent entrepreneur (L&B Partners BV). Upon the sale, the two Concorde companies were united and the name changed to Vertaalbureau Concorde Group BV.

A management buy-out took place early in 2008, and the Rabo Participaties shares were taken over. The company has once again been owned privately since 1st January 2008, by two independent entrepreneurs, Ms. E.H. Leeman (L&B Partners BV) and Mr. E. Bohre (Frazza BV). Together, they are the board members and joint shareholders.

In the past 16 years, Concorde has elected for a general approach (all languages and all disciplines). We translate from Dutch to all other foreign languages and vice versa, but also from one foreign language to another.

This approach has rewarded us with constant growth. Satisfied customers keep coming back. We work closely with a broad range of qualified translators, with whom we have many years' experience. We serve a great diversity of clients, both in the corporate community but also government bodies and the European Union. The translation assignmnents are medical, technical, commercial, promotional, financial-economic and political in nature.
